Blast Nozzle Orifice Gauge
Our Blast Nozzle Orifice Gauge accurately measures the internal diameter of your blast nozzle. An indispensable part of the blast operative tool kit, the gauge helps determine the amount of abrasive wear to your nozzles, and therefore the amount of compressed air needed to blast effectively.
Any wear inside a nozzle can lead to decreased productivity, increased abrasive consumption and therefore an incorrect surface profile. In fact, as wear exceeds 1/16th more than the original size nozzle, production could decrease by up to 20%.
The gauge is simple to use; mark the rounded side with the pencil, slide the gauge into the threaded side of your nozzle and give it a few turns. When removed, you'll see a line scratched in the pencil mark. This indicates the size your nozzle is operating at.
